Contract Signing for the Conceptual Drainage Master Plan of the Municipality of Liloan, Cebu
We are collaborating with the Municipality of Liloan, Cebu for their Conceptual Drainage Master Plan. Mayor Aljew Frasco and Vice Mayor Darwin Apas led the contract signing on March 11, 2024.
The preparation of a hydrologic study and conceptual drainage master plan is urgently needed to help protect the Municipality, its 14 barangays, and its neighboring communities from the current effects of climate change and rising sea levels. The project has the following objectives:
Establish provisions for the design of elevated land developments that will help protect against maximum seawater level and storm surge from the passing of strong tropical cyclones,
Integrate a surface flow system that will manage rainfall intensity through the envisioning of the conceptual drainage master plan,
Provide a sewerage system inclusive of a wastewater treatment facility, and
Assist in crafting a draft ordinance to help flood mitigation and project implementation.
