We are excited to announce our partnership with the Municipality of Baras for their Urban Development Plan. Mayor Wilfredo Robles and Vice Mayor Kathrine Robles led the contract signing and kick-off meeting on February 27, 2024.

With a land area of 8,492.64 hectares, which is 3.94 times larger than Makati City and 2.43 times larger than Dubai, the Municipality of Baras prides itself as Rizal’s premier organic town, a first of its kind in the Philippines. Its diverse geographical formations include the birthplace of a traditional Filipino sport called “Sikaran,” which is a form of martial arts.

The Municipality envisions itself as the center of organic farming in the province. Crafting and implementing Baras’ strategic development plan will provide the following benefits:

• Identifying potential growth centers to assess and determine every barangay's social and infrastructural needs, including roads, social and institutional buildings, and tourism destinations.
• Integrating local and international best practices, policies, and community aspirations to enhance the province's industry quality.
• Providing a guide to maximize the Municipality’s potential for sustainability and inclusive growth.
• Promoting land use collaboration between the public and private sectors for more efficient resource utilization.

The upcoming strategic urban development plan signifies progress toward enhancing community quality of life, ensuring social equity, and conserving natural resources for future generations.
