However, like many cities experiencing rapid urbanization, Navotas faces mounting challenges such as population growth, environmental degradation, traffic congestion, and limited infrastructure.

Recognizing this potential, Palafox partnered with the City of Navotas for a full-day lecture as part of their Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Smart Cities Development and Management held at the Asian Institute of Management. Through this initiative, we explored how smart city principles can transform Navotas into a more sustainable, livable, and future-ready city.
