• In celebration of International Women’s Day last March 2014, Arch. Felino "Jun" Palafox, Jr. and EnP. Karima Patricia "Karmi" Palafox was invited to speak at the Third Women Mentoring Summit which was organized by the Women’s Business Council of the Philippines. With the theme, “Enabling Women, Enabling Success, Enabling the Future,” Jun and Karmi talked about “Successfully Passing the Legacy.”

  • The newly formed group serves as the architectural design arm of Palafox Associates and offers a full suite of services from Conceptual Design to Contract Documentation. Intensifying its focus in delivering design solutions, the Group also provides Interior Design, Project Management, and 3D Animation for its clientele.

  • Fisher Mall, located at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Quezon Avenue, is owned and operated by Mallers Management Corp. It is the first green building or eco-friendly building in the area. The streamlined silhouette of the structure is reminiscent of a fish jumping out of the water, a result of many schemes that went through the mind of architect Jun Palafox. Its basket-weave design also provides a sculptural effect at different times of the day. At night, for example, the façade’s LED light wall changes colors.

  • Palafox Associates and TopConnection.Asia Inc. have entered into an agreement that will provide a "powered by Avolve" cloud-based technology platform to build smart and green cities in the Philippines. The technology will provide City Building officials and Architectecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) companies the ability for digital plan review services.

  • The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), a Chicago-based professional organization, announced last July 01, 2013 the appointment of Filipino Architect-Urban Planner Felino "Jun" Palafox, Jr. as one of their two newest Fellows. CTBUH Fellows are recognized for their contribution to the Council over an extended period of time, and in recognition of their work and the sharing of their knowledge in the design and construction of tall buildings and urban habitat.

But being the revolutionary that he is, Felino "Jun" Palafox Jr., founder and managing partner of Palafox Associates, broke out of the mold and proceeded to plan structures and communities that would transcend design and encompass societal and environmental issues.

  • This presentation exhibits the capacity of private sectors in initiating vertical urbanism and urban development in the Philippines. Private developers have led the successful development of the Makati Central Business District and the Rockwell Center in the Philippines, where the tallest buildings in the country are located. This presentation hopes to draw inspiration from the urban planning done by private developers in Makati.

  • Palafox Associates gears up for the "Smart City: The Next Generation" in Berlin, Germany to be held from May to July 2013. The San Juan City Plan, a collaboration of Palafox and the City Government of San Juan, is one of the 35 projects to be featured in the exhibition organized by the internationally well-known non-profit organization Aedes East - International Architecture Forum. Architect-Urban Planner Felino Palafox, Jr. will also take part in the panel discussion on the topic Smart Mobility. Nearly 100 entries were received all over the world and Palafox is the only Filipino firm in the roster.

  • Felino Palafox, Jr. was inducted last 29 January 2013 as President of the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) for 2013 and 2014. Vice President Jejomar C. Binay, Chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council, led the induction ceremony at the Coconut Palace, CCP Complex, Manila.
