• Palafox Associates recently succeeded in its bid for the review and update of Zamboanga City’s Land Use Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and its Comprehensive Development Plan. The agreement was signed last 16 December 2015, represented by Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco and Principal Architect-Urban Planner Felino Palafox, Jr. Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde and Managing Partner Karima Palafox stood as witnesses.

  • The project is envisioned to be the new city center of Panabo, integrating places to live, work, shop, and learn, among others. Since Panabo is known as the “Agri-Industrial gateway of Mindanao to the world,” the master plan carried out by Palafox Associates hinges on agriculture as the focal point for development. Thus, it will strike a balance between the proposed structures and the natural features of the site.

  • The master plan prepared by Palafox Associates for San Vicente in Palawan, a flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone (TEZ), recently received the approval of both the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA).

  • Part of the celebration is the blessing of the new Carillon Bell Tower, which is one of the features of the on-going redevelopment plan for the Baclaran Church property. With the master development plan and urban design laid out by Palafox Associates in 2013, the Church is expected to enhance some of the existing structures to accommodate more visitors and transform the 2.5-hectare property into a people-centric environment.

  • In line with the MAYNILA Urban Design Week + Festival, Palafox Associates opened its doors to urban enthusiasts with a public exhibit and learning session in our office last May 14. Principal Architect-Urban Planner Felino Palafox, Jr. and Managing Partner-Urban Planner Karima Palafox shared their development vision plan for the Philippines, in a presentation entitled “Philippines at 500: 2021 and Beyond.”

  • The Philippine Council of Real Estate Educators (PhilCORE), in cooperation with the Philippine chapter of the Fédération Internationale de Administrateurs de Biens et Conseils Immobiliers (FIABCI), unanimously chosen Architect Felino Palafox, Jr. to be a Fellow in Real Estate Management for his significant contribution in the profession.

  • Palafox Associates has begun working together with the city of Ilagan in updating its Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance (CLUPZO) and general development guidelines. We are also involved in the design of the City's urban areas. Ilagan is a first-class city located in the heart if Cagayan Valley Region, Philippines. Its more than one hundred thousand hectares of land houses the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park, the largest protected area in the country.

  • A new economic zone is soon to emerge in South Cotabato as the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) grants economic zone status to Richmond Land’s 59-hectare project. Located in Polomolok, a first-class municipality in the Philippines, the property is envisioned to be a manufacturing and information technology hub with places to live, work, play, shop, dine, recreate, learn, and worship.

  • A medical center envisioned to become an exciting new setting in Philippine healthcare, the Tarlac Doctors Medical Center sits on a 2.7-hectare property in Barangay San Vicente, Tarlac City. The ground breaking ceremony was held last December 2014.
